Rechargeable Flashlights

Compare battery, charging, size, and durability details across rechargeable flashlights.

Treat output and runtime as mode-specific claims

Brightness and battery life usually describe different operating modes. Compare sourced lumen figures, runtime conditions, charging method, and water rating without assuming that a maximum-output mode lasts for the longest stated runtime.

Brightness and beam type

Look for a numeric lumen value tied to a flood, spot, or combined beam. Listings with missing units or implausible values stay outside the comparison set.

Runtime and charging

Check which mode produced the runtime claim and whether the battery is built in or replaceable. USB-C, proprietary magnetic charging, and removable cells have different cable and travel needs.

Flashlight or headlamp

A handheld flashlight and a headlamp solve different carrying needs. This page excludes headlamps so hands-free models do not distort the flashlight shortlist.
