Battery capacity gives a rough sense of stored energy, but it does not show how quickly a power bank charges a phone or laptop. Compare the output of each port, how power is shared, and which cables or connectors the package includes.
Capacity and size
Higher stated capacity can mean more recharges, but it usually adds weight and bulk. Treat advertised capacity as a product specification, not a guarantee of energy delivered to a device.
Total and per-port output
Separate total output from the maximum available through one port. Multi-port models may reduce each port's output when several devices charge at once.
Connections and travel
Check the input and output connectors, built-in cables, and included accessories. Review current airline and carrier rules before traveling with any battery pack.
